Profhilo is a natural skin boosting hyaluronic acid  (HA) chemical. Over time it remodels skin by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but it also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue.

Profhilo is a progressive treatment that can restructure the architecture of the skin this is called remodeling. Because hyaluronic acid attracts water and holds it in the skin, this treatment improves the hydration of the tissues. This gives the skin a more youthful appearance.

The Science

Thermal cross-linking changes the character and behaviour of the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in Profhilo resulting in the formation of new complexes which modulate the tissues.

This also explains the different biological behaviour when compared to HA fillers. One of the main advantagesis results are accumulative and longer lasting.

Hybrid complexes have proven to be stable and are not broken down quickly in the skin naturally, which is a problem with some dermal fillers. The dual action using two HA components is ideal for remodelling skin laxity.

How many treatments are needed?

For best results two treatments are required one month apart.

Is it safe?

Hyaluronic acid is present naturally in the skin, also this product is not crosslinked so does not have the same complexity as the dermal fillers. Has been shown to have a good safety profile.

How long does it last?

Results from this treatment have shown to last between 8-9 months.

Does it hurt ?

The treatment involves 5 injections points, either side of the face, the injections are superficial. Treatment is administered slowly in a controlled manner, so no sharp sudden piercing.

The first treatment is priced at £300, and the second sitting is £200.

What results should I expect?

Skin is more nourished, glowing, visibly hydrated, it is brighter, plumper and smoother. Individual results can vary dependent on factors such as genetics, age and lifestyle choices.

Treatment should be started as soon as you feel any concerns regarding dull looking dehydrated skin, the, sooner treatment is started the better the outcomes, “prevention is better than cure”.
